Thank you for your interest in applying for a grant to fund projects that will engage students and enhance learning in your school, ultimately adding life experiences and enriching the Fairfield Public School’s curriculum. Included below are details to apply, or check out some of the grants awarded in previous years.
Grants will be reviewed in February 2023 for the 2023-2024 school year.
Grant monies awarded will be contingent on funds available for distribution and the discretion of the Grants Committee and Board of Directors.

The Foundation is looking for projects that reflect our mission to enrich curriculum and stimulate creative learning opportunities. Projects should enhance the classroom experience, foster creativity and encourage the exploration of concepts, and ideas beyond the core curriculum. Foundation funds are not intended to be used to fund programs that are the responsibility of the public through the annual Board of Education budget. Projects should encourage collaboration and create an impact beyond the funding period.
Funds must be spent as stipulated in your application. All expenditures must be backed up by receipts. Any funds not spent as outlined in the application must be returned to the FairfieldFFE. A project evaluation report must be completed and submitted to the FairfieldFFE no later than 30 days after completion of the project.
We encourage you to apply. The key to the Foundation’s success will be to identify projects and then to focus on funding those projects. Since we formed in 2010, we have funded more than $53,000 in grants. Our pledge to Fairfield’s teachers is that we will work hard to raise the funds for projects that are worthy of implementation.
